《大寶積經 護國菩薩會》標點及人名

《大寶積經 護國菩薩會》 和 T0321《佛說護國尊者所問大乘經》是同本異譯,有梵本傳世并且十分完整(Rāṣṭrapālaparipṛcchā)。

首先,T0170《德光太子經》是上述二經的略本。T0170的主角「賴吒和羅」就是Rāṣṭrapāla。此異譯關係應當標注在T0170上。

《護國菩薩會》:

[0457b08] 一時婆伽婆在王舍城耆闍崛山中,與大比丘眾千二百五十人俱;菩薩摩訶薩五千人,一切皆得無礙辯才,大忍成就降伏魔怨,近於佛智一生補處,皆得陀羅尼無邊辯才、力無所畏、自在神通,乃至一切功德皆悉具足,其名曰普賢菩薩、普眼菩薩、普明菩薩、普光菩薩、圓光菩薩、上意菩薩、無邊意菩薩、廣意菩薩、無盡意菩薩、持地菩薩、持世菩薩、益意菩薩、呪手菩薩、文殊師利等六十不思議菩薩,賢護等十六菩薩,如是等菩薩摩訶薩五千人俱。

「陀羅尼」和「無邊辯才」是兩個特質,應以頓號分開,而「力無所畏」可能應該去掉頓號。

按藏文同經典的英譯版The Questions of Rāṣṭrapāla (1) / 84000 Reading Room

此段為:

… and five thousand bodhisattvas, whose eloquence was unimpeded,
(菩薩摩訶薩五千人,一切皆得無礙辯才)

who were endowed with patience, who had conquered the hostile māras,
(大忍成就降伏魔怨)

who were very close to realizing all the buddha qualities, who were impeded by only one birth,
(近於佛智一生補處)

who had attained concentration and retention,
(得定和陀羅尼)
T0310無「得定」一詞,T0321作「得三摩地,總持自在」。concentration的梵文原詞是dhyāna(禪),retention就是dhāraṇī(陀羅尼)

who had reached limitless eloquence and unimpeded fearlessness,
(無邊辯才、力無所畏)

who had obtained magical power and the ultimate perfection of power,
(自在神通)

and who had appropriated all inexhaustible collections of good qualities without exception.
(一切功德皆悉具足)


又,這一段中的菩薩名列表,有梵文可以添加標注。雖然T0321裏的梵文標注不少,但是菩薩名還沒有標注上。
